Been using this since I was a puppy....

There goes the old toilet & here comes the new one....

Now...the new tray...Bigger & more steady...

Mum : Ode wasn't happy with his old try being tossed away, he marked around the house when we were asleep, one spot once every 2 or 3 days, for the past 1 mth. The old tray & grill are still outside the house, we DARE not DUMP THEM!!! Ode is KING when it comes to his belongings...aarrgghh!!

During my stay at my brother's place, we went to the Park nearby. Don't ask me what park, I was too excited to ask my brother & his mum when we reached there!

The moment I stepped out of the house, I poo-ed 1st, of coz that includes pee-ing. Must make yourself comfortable before starting the fun right?

Ok, now that we are both relieved. Here's the start of our journey of FUN!

It's been a long time since the last posting. Many things have happened & mummy was extremely bbbbbzzzz....hump! that shouldn't be an excuse right? I can always turn on the computer myself & start updating right?

Ok, anyway, I will start with "Augus & Me". I got to stay with my brother called Augus for about a week when mum & dad went on holiday(why didn't they bring me along? Grr...).

Yesterday, mum suddenly brought me donw in splits of seconds....without notifying me! And so we got down the lift, thought it was just like another regular walks or even to the Bishan Park...hehe...

But to my surprise, I saw Aunty L & Aunty Lu, Oh, I was really excited that I jumped n jumped. Next, I saw Aunty L passing some square-retangular thing to my mum..hmm..whatz that????

We returned home very soon, & see what's in the wrapper...here comes the fashion show!

As mentioned, it is a fashion show, so do expect a lot of similar pics...but surely different poses & angles of shots...

After some stupid glitches and laziness of my mum, here's finally Part 2!

Part 1 was about me socialising with some new doggies, it was so awesome paw-some..& here's my various poses to show you how paw-some it was - the more tired I was the more pawsome it was :

Outing at Bishan Park & the Dog Run

Mummy: Brought Ode to the Bishan Park this morning as weather was good. Along the way, we met a corgi, then we entered the Dog Run, we met another corgi.

As always, Ode was very engrossed in marking his territory that he couldn't be bothered about other doggies there. After all the markings, he then started to mingle & sniff other doggie's butts.
We came to this place to rest after the fun time in the dog run, it was shady & windy. Ode had a good time admiring the scenery.

Special Outing!

It was only 6pm but mum & dad were already home! Wasn't it great?? But at the same time, I find it kind of weird as they are usually not home before 8pm. Soon after, mum said to me "Kai Kai"! Oh, KAI KAI!!! That's my top of the top top top vocab I LOVE & will NEVER FORGET!

Then I heard from dad, "Ode, you walk there yourself". What! Where? After a while, dad put on the harness for me...

As we walked, we stopped at the main road...
not long after, here came a taxi...up to the taxi...
ok, long story short...I saw Dr G Chay...Oh, I was so happy to see her!!! WOOF!

(Mum : we brought Ode to the vet for his "20 cents" sized inflammed rash, see pics below)

An irritated nipple, vet said he might have rubbed it against something on the floor that make him feel itchy or pain.

Before going to the vet, mum applied medication on the red spot & have this cone around my neck...

It was choking as it was too small!!

I hate this cone around my neck, especially now that I've outgrown this stupid thing!

Weather is freaking hot, & I was given a nice cold shower today, as usual, I will need to tolerate the SUPER LOUD noise from the industrial blower, while the humans put on their ear-plugs!

Since there's no "doggie-ear-plug" for me, here's the alternative :

Mummy kept laughing & laughing at the sight of this "STYLE"...Finally, she couldn't take it but to grab her cam & started shooting....while still giggling...(after 3rd pic)but I had also successfully got rid of the towel by shaking my head..YEAH!!

Mum & dad came home at their usual time last evening. However, sometime around 10.45pm, my dad started mopping the floor in my room, followed by mopping the floor in the hall. After awhile, he started setting up my old "house", I smelt something fishy...& it sure looked familiar to me! Don't tell me that noisy mini schnauzer is coming again??!!

Geez...he's really a pain in the neck whenever he barks coz once he started barking, he can't stop, & he's so afraid of me. But well, what could I do then? It was not my fault, I was just being FRIENDLY...Woof!

It was 11pm, I was getting anxious when my dad attempted to ask me to go back to my current "house"...I always go back willingly upon command, but not this time, so dad decided to grab hold of me, unfortunately he couldn't as I was pasing around the house, walking to & fro between the gate & everywhere but not my room!

As I walked around the house anxiously, I sensed someone coming out of the lift! Oh, I saw someone familiar!!! It's Auntie L! But who's the other two hoomans....& a white fella of my kind??? This time, I got REALLY EXCITED...who was that? who was that?

Dad managed to grab hold of me & put me in my "house". Mum then opened the door & there they were, all into the house...& I went into a frenzy!!

Now, I saw a white dog with a brown face & black patches running down from it's eyes. I could sense that it's a girl, a little girl. She's so SUPRISINGLY QUIET unlike that mini schnauzer. And she smelt nice & sweet...

And here I am, trying to get close to this white little gal, wanted to say welcome to her, but all the hoomans didn't allow me to do that, they made sure I was at least 1m away from this gal. Hmph! So bad of them!!!

Few days ago, mummy gave me this green monster again, it actually came with one eye(weird, hw come only got one eye?) & a tail, however after playing for a while, the eye dropped out(Mummy:Ode chewed off the eye in minutes!), next the tail also dropped off, & finally one of the ear! Humph! What a stupid monster, not hardy at all, unlike me...hey hey!

Nicky R.I.P in Raisin Land (22/02/04 to 16/12/08)

Today is special, I let my mummy use my blog..woof!

On 14th dec night, suspected that Nicky has not been eating for days, as his pellets and hay were totally untouched, next thing I realized was the water, it did not move at all. Gave him an almond, he ate very slowly, however he left 2/3 of it on the floor. I noticed something was not right & needs medical attention asap.

Yesterday morning, which was 15th dec, brought him to Dr Hsu, and he was diagnosed with gut problem, & hence given medication to move his gut. After all the handfeeding with critical care & apple sauce, he was improving.

But this morning, Nicky looked a bit different, & much more weaker. Continued to handfeed every 1 hr. Still he didn't look good. Despite all these, I still hoped that he will get better, unfortunately he did not. He passed away around 2pm! Though was not surprised that he will not make it, I still feel that his death was too sudden.

Nicky was my 1st chin, he is also my most favorite chin, as he was such a good boy & an intelliegent one. I really cannot accept his death as he's too young to die!

I just cannot stop crying....Nicky, hope you enjoy in Raisin Land now....& appear in my dreamland tonite...

As it's name implies, this dish was made up of salmon, potato, egg & green pea

Before I started walloping, mum removed the fishbones from the salmon & crushed the potato & eggs, & mixed well...

(Mum:If I don't mixed the food well, Ode will bite the whole pieces of potato or egg & leave it on the floor...*faint*)

Tiga went home on 15th Jul

My guest, Tiga, a Mini Schnauzer, who stayed at my place, sharing the same room with me, for 9 days, had went home with his parents few days ago, which was tuesday. Because of him, I got to go down for walk TWICE a day!! Wasn't it GREAT??

Unlike me, Tiga is a very timid boy, heard that his parents only bring him out for walk once a month! Woof! No wonder he's afraid of every sight & every sound, even at home. But with mummy's effort to bring him out, he was getting better by the day.

He's no longer afraid of passing vehicles, less afraid of passers-by(80% less), but still afraid of sudden movements(humans suddenly appeared at his sight).

Woof! guys & gals, I was so excited when I heard someone barking very loud at my door! Then soon after, I saw a little doggie at half of my size in my house with many humans...this doggie is even more excited than me or I should say very very nervous that he kept barking and barking.

His name is Tiga, heard from mummy that he's not my new buddy, but my guest who wlll be staying here with me form 7th to 15th Jul, while his parents & children went on a holiday.

Yesterday, mummy brought me to the dog run in the evening, over there, I met 2 dogs, one of the male doggy attempted to hump me, but I attempted to hump back, & after this point, he dare not hump me anymore..hehehe...after that I was so engrossed in defining my territory that I couldn't be bothered to play with them!

Until I finished marking every inch of the boundary, then I started to play with them...

And how I miss my friends! I miss Clare, Barn2, Benny, Dexter, Lucky & Marky. A dog's life is not a dog's life without them. Not sure why I didn't see them for the past 1 mth, however I saw Aunty L's car, around 9.50am, & there I hopped onto the car & saw Aunty Lu, Barn2 & Clare..

Woof! Paws, the weather is so hot these days! My dad and mum can't take it, so do I. You see we corgis got thick coats, but humans don't. If they can't take it, I would feel worse. I was panting & panting, drooling all over the floor.

Due to the heat, mum & dad will turn on the aircon when it's time to sleep. SO how about me? Oh yes, oh yes, I got aircon for my room too! FYI, I got 4 chinchillas staying with me, so when the airocn is on, 5 of us gets the cool air for the nite. I slept soundly for the last 2 nites..hehe..thanx to the heat, ya?

Also I got aircons for the few hours during the day..oooo..yes..more heat = more aircon for me...:p

Mummy : Been running 2 units at the same time for more than 8 hrs during the night & 6 hrs for 1 unit during the day, for these few days.

Silver Dog Charm - Corgi

Daddy bought me two dog charm, they are genuine silver. Look at the two corgi charms, the one on the right looks like me, ya?

I got a harness & a collar, so just nice, I can use both of them on my harness & collar..hehe...Daddy said I am the only corgi in S'pore wearing a corgi charm..woof!

It was a hot sunday morning, & a long walk, I enjoyed the whole events though I was very tired after that. Among 400 dogs, there were only 2 corgis, me & the 4 yr old red/white. Unlike last yr, there were so many corgis, easily 10 of us. I think it would be even more fun if all of my usual gang & frens can be there too.

Dog Walk - Main Events

Woof! All Paws, after a night's sleep, I am ready to tell you all about the rest of the agenda. After all the paws has got their goodie bags, the walk flag off at 9.00am, it's a 1.3km walk.

At the beginning of the walk...

Class 95 Dog Walk 2008

This morning I woke up exceptionally early (dad woke me up at 7am!)! Didn't know what was happening until I saw my mum & dad getting changed, well, must be going out without me again.. :(

But to my surprise, I noticed they are actually bringing me out too. In less than 10mins, the whole family was on the way to Bishan Park! Along the way, I saw many many dogs, I was so excited, it's been a long time I've seen so many dogs early in the morning. And so we reached the Dog Run Area, which I am very familiar with.

Over here, all parents queuing up with their doggies. I wonder whatz that for? Aren't we doggies gonna play and run free in the dog run? Oh, after a while, I saw the big banner saying "CLASS 95 FM DOG WALK 2008"!! Woof! Woof! I've been to this Dog Walk last year, the day when I 1st met Belle, Trident, Guy, Buta, Brownie, & some other corgis that were not in our forum.

Ok, long story short. Here are the events agenda :

7.30 am -- we made our way to the Dog Run Area.
7.50 am -- Starting to queue, we were among the 1st 10 or 15.
Around 8.15am -- I got my goodie bag & an umbrella.

The goodie bag & umbrella were only available for the 1st 200 early birds. So, while waiting for the rest of the doggies in the queue to collect theirs. I looked at what'z inside for me...

Here it goes :

5 items here -- Towel from Pets Lover Centre, Synthetic leather leash, Lanyard from CLASS 95, PETS Magazine & the blue bandanas

3 sample packs of Oven-Baked kibbles & another brand, I never seen or tasted these brands before.

Some Gifts coupon here, I doubt mummy gonna use them..

SKC Companion Dog Application form, US Doggie Bakery discount coupon(hmm..I think mum will use it..hehe) & Earth Cafe Information card(New dog cafe)

Last but not least, there were also cookies from US Doggie Bakery, wondering why there is no picture? Yum! Tum! It's already in my stomach, woof!

Woof! All Paws, here comes our weekly gathering at K9Campus. This day, only Benny & I really played for some time, as Dexter & Lucky were not here, & Clare went swimming with her brother Barn2. This week's arrangement was a bit different, Mrky came for massage instead of swimming. Both Benny n I were told to stay inside a room, for we have not really met up with Marky, & the fact that Auntie Z giving him the massage.

Evening Walk

U know I was so happy, just now daddy brought me out for walk, & mommy followed. So it's like a whole family outing, as usually, it's either dad walk me or mum, but most of the time is mum. It is like once in a blue moon, almost close to striking TOTO(my "2-legged" creature's game) to have both of them walking together with me.

This is where I stay, places where there are high human & vehicle traffic.

Something attracted my attention -----> a Taxi, & a few 2-legged creatues getting into it...

Hoi, I want to get in too..but daddy kept me from moving even an another inch closer...

Oh, well, I can always glued to the ground & watch...hey! hey! hey!

Woof! Walked with daddy & mommy today, played FRAP, ate ribs, greenies, sea biscuits & sea jerky, played fetch, poo n pee a lot, & tomorrow it's wrestling time with Benny again, WOOF! WOOF! THIS IS DOG'S LIFE!!!!

My New Treats

Today mummy bought a lot of new treats for me..some of them I had tried before & I love it...

These 2 are new & I have never eaten before...so mummy bought 1 packet each..

This Succulent Spare Ribs is really yummy...I tried it before & I love it..it's so irresistible. Mummy bought 4 packets!!

Mummy : Sent Ode for bath & nail trimming today, as his nail is getting too long. And since I don't go there often, I might as well buy more treats to last a long time. According to the petshop, these 3 items are one of their top sellers, especially the Spare Ribs, runs out the fastest!

Though I bought so many packs, I only give one rib per day. There are abt 10 to 12 strips of ribs in a pack, so 4 packs will last me at least 40 days. As for the fish meat & skin, try to make it last longer...hehe

I missed my playtime with Benny, Clare & Lucky last wednesday. Time flies & it's wednesday again. Lucky & Clare went for their swim, left with Benny & I in the shop. We didn't wrestle much, Auntie Z was wondering why I was rather quiet, but not until someone threw a tennis ball.....

Cookie's Barkday Pawty

Woof! Yesterday was my friend, Cookie's Barkday pawty! At 9.30am, auntie L came & pick me up, inside the car, there were barn2 & clare & auntie Lu. Just like when I got to see them every wednesday morning. And as such, we were the super early paws that arrived auntie Z's shop, Benny was already sitting at the door step, can see that he was happy to see us again.

It was really an awesome & super FUN pawty, having 11 corgis inside the store & 1 outside the store...1 outside?(hehe...) Among the 12 corgis, there were few new faces that Benny, clare & me have not met, as for me, this was the 1st time I met Collar, Rhubarb, Wolfie & Chester. Among the 4 of them, Rhubarb & Wolfie were new to everybody.

Here are some shots by my mummy, the moment we reached home, she started all the downloading & editing, while I was laying flat on the floor, can hardly open my eyelids...it took at least 3 hrs for my mummy to select & edit good ones among the 198 shots!

Chicken Meat

Oh! I smell something during dinner time, whatz that? whatz that? Oh, I sensed chicken!! Is it for me? Today, mum cooked chicken fillet for me...woof woof! How good. Yet I am not getting it, I've been given the usual kibbles and can-food at a smaller portion.

I've finished 99% of the kibbles n wet food, but still don't see any chicken meat.....OH YES!! chicken meat!!! 10mins after I finished the usual kibbles n can-food. I saw nummy putting pieces of meat on my food dish.

Yummy! So nice, it surely taste nices...have not been eating cooked chicken meat for very long long time.

It's wednesday again, we didn't meet up last week. So we were especially excited to meet up again yesterday, Oh, especially me, I can see my dream gal ----> LUCKY!

Hmm, finally mummy brought a decent cam, but it also means a lot of shots & editing, so kind of a bit late to write the blog, hey, always late by one day(nah, not me, not me!..hehe). Boom! Boom! It's raining again, & it's heavy. Thunder storm, oh, I am really afraid, I ran to my mummy, oh, luckily she's at home, followed her around the house. When she sits on the sofa, I sit very close to her legs, this time, mummy picked me up & let me sit beside her on the sofa. Boom! I lean closer to mummy, & she said I am a thunder storm chicken!!

Outing at Bishan Park on 6th Jan, Sunday

Today, my mum brings to the Bishan Park dog run, so many dogs there, & humans too. I saw some dogs having agility competitions. Then after sometime, mummy brings me into a small dog agility trial, but I don't know how to play them. So mummy brings me out of the trial & I met many doggie friends.

It was a long outing for me this time at Bishan park, we reached there at around 4.30pm, went back home at around 7pm. I was so tired & hungry, mummy gave me dinner 1 hr earlier than usual, after that I also got my bath earlier. I dozed off everywhere in the house.

It was a wednesday, Oh, well, you guys think I really know which day was it? Anyway, I know mummy was not working, as usual, whenever she brings me out for walk, she will say "Kai-kai", When I heard it, oh yes, I was so excited as usual, can go for walk again.

However, I noticed mummy & I were standing at the void deck. Not sure what was happening, I just greeted every passersby with a smile, after a while, a white car drove in, mummy walked towards it, got a blue carrier from Aunty Rachel, squeezed me inside, I was so scared.

After a while, we reached a place called K9Campus, here, I saw Benny, Lucky, aunty Zoe, & into a room, where we started to have fun, Dexter & Clare were there too.

Hmm..I don't have pics, can I steal pics from Barn2's blog? hehe..
But well, you guys might as well refer to his blog, pics & narratives are there..haha

Squeaky toys

Auntie Artos gave me some gift some time ago, & one of the item is a soft toy with squeaky. I wanted to play with it, but my mum and dad uses it to entice me, whenever they wants me to go to them, coz sometimes I don't response to their "call" command. They also use it to play catching with me, squeak the toy but didn't let me touch it.. :(

Few days ago, they bought 2 more squeaky toys, knowing that I can't resist squeakies. And there goes the same as above, never give the toy to me, only let me play a while and thenkeep it out of my reach.

12th Oct - Whatz Happening?

Oh finally got chance to get on mum's computer, Yeah!
That day, saw mum and dad came back at around 9pm with few large bags full of things..whatz that? whatz that? I was sniffing around & jumping up n down...

Now dad started to unpack those boxes, & I continued to be curious, still trying to figure out whatz those stuffs. While dad was unpacking, mum was also unpacking some stuffs in the study room, I paced around the house, from living room to the study room, trying to see what they are doing.

2hrs has passed, & they are still doing their things, even more things. Oh, now I know what they are doing ----> it's a new PC, new monitor.....but for this 2hrs, I've been left out, they were too busy to play with me or to stroke me...Oh! :(
